We proudly hosted an Art Exhibition, bringing together pupils, families, staff, and local artists for a vibrant celebration of creativity under the theme:
“Welford – Our School, Our Village, Our Home.”

The school hall was transformed into a stunning gallery space, showcasing artwork from every child in the school. Each class explored a different artistic medium—from delicate watercolours and expressive collages to imaginative masks. The pieces were thoughtfully arranged in house groups (Davenport, Higgs, Wright, and Owen), creating a rich, mixed-age tapestry of talent and teamwork.

The atmosphere was filled with pride and excitement as families admired the children’s work, many of whom eagerly shared the inspiration behind their creations. Visiting artists joined the celebration, offering prizes and commendations for standout pieces, while also praising the overall standard and creativity on display.

The Welford Art Exhibition was not only a showcase of artistic talent—it was a powerful reminder of the strength, unity, and imagination within our school and village.
