• If your child is absent from School please inform the School on the first day of absence. If your child needs to be taken out of School for any reason, please sign the book in the School Office.

• Holidays should not be taken during term time. Children have 13 weeks off per year in holiday. Time off during term time can adversely affect your child’s education and the School frowns upon any time taken during term time for holidays. If it is absolutely necessary then permission from the Headteacher needs to be sought. An official form for completion is available form the office for holidays taken during term time but permission is only granted in exceptional circumstances. 

Written messages avoid problems. Please realise that all children should take part in games and so, if children are fit for school they should be fit to access the whole curriculum and only in exceptional circumstances will be excused from physical education lessons.
